A Place to Rest. A Place to Heal. A Place to Reconnect.

Healing has been the work of my life. For more than 28 years, I have helped people navigate chronic pain, trauma, stress and the many ways life can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves. My journey has taken me around the world in search of answers, studying a wide range of therapies and healing modalities. Yet some of the most important lessons I've learned did not come from a classroom. They came from my own healing journey. Living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Dysautonomia and chronic pain led me to ask deeper questions. Why do our bodies hold on to pain? How does trauma affect the nervous system? What role do community, nature and faith play in healing? Those questions eventually led to the creation of  Transformation in the Woods.

Nestled on 20 peaceful acres, Transformation in the Woods is more than a retreat space. It is a place to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with yourself. Surrounded by nature, I guide individuals and groups through experiences designed to support healing of the body, mind and spirit. My approach combines decades of experience in bodywork, nervous system regulation, nutrition, breathwork and trauma-informed care. I draw from a variety of modalities, including Myosomatic Massage, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Spinal Flow, PEMF Therapy and my signature Body Talk sessions.

More importantly, I listen. Every person's story is unique, and true healing begins when that story is heard and honored. Before launching Transformation in the Woods, I spent nine years leading a nonprofit organization serving survivors of domestic violence. Through retreats and community-based healing programs, I witnessed firsthand the power of being seen, supported and understood. That belief remains at the heart of everything I do today. When I'm not working with clients, you'll likely find me tending my garden, harvesting herbs for teas, tinctures and salves, or simply enjoying the beauty of the woods I call home. These simple rhythms remind me that healing is not a destination. It is a journey of returning to ourselves, one step at a time. My hope is that every person who comes here leaves feeling lighter, stronger and more connected to the life they were created to live. I believe every person's story matters, and I would be honored to be part of yours.

With love, grace and a heart for healing,

Jenea
